SUPERIOR  COURT  TRIAL JURORS:
 
  ALL JURORS WHO RECEIVED SUMMONS FOR JURY SELECTION ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2019 BEFORE JUDGE MICHAEL T MULDREW  ASKED TO REPORT TO THE THIRD FLOOR OF THE EFFIGHAM COUNTY JUDICIAL COMPLEX BY 8:00 AM.  PLEASE COME EARLY ENOUGH TO PROCESSED THROUGH THE SECURITY STATION AT THE FRONT DOOR,  PLEASE BRING WITH YOU YOUR JUROR INFORMATION SHEET THAT WAS MAILED WITH YOUR SUMMONS.  MAKE SURE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS IS ON THE FRONT.  IF YOU HAVE MISPLACED THE FORM, WE CAN PROVIDE A NEW ONE UPON ENTRY IN TO THE COURTROOM.  PLEASE LEAVE ALL CELLPHONES, PAGERS, ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN YOUR VEHICLE.  DO NOT BRING THEM INTO THE COURTHOUSE.  YOU MAY ALSO LIKE TO BRING A LIGHT JACKET OR SWEATER FOR YOUR COMFORT.  ONCE AGAIN PLEASE REPORT FOR JURY SELECTION BY 8:00 AM.  THANK YOU
   
STATE COURT JURORS:

ALL STATE COURT JURORS WHO RECEIVED A SUMMONS FOR JURY SELECTION ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23,  2019 BEFORE JUDGE RONALD K. THOMPSON, PLEASE BE ADVISED THE CASE HAS SETTLED AND JURY SELECTION IS CANCELLED FOR SEPTEMBER 23, 2019.  DO NOT REPORT!  YOU ARE RELEASED  FROM YOUR SUMMONS.

Time and Money


Jury service typically takes all day, so it is up to you to make any arrangements at home or work. Effingham County jurors are paid $25.00 per diem for their service.
